Buddhists say we don't exist. Vedic theology agrees. It is Balaram who exist us. He is explained to be the presiding deity of the sandhini-shakti, the potency that maintains existence. That is not something we can do. We are separated parts of God, with adaptability towards both the superior world of spirit and the inferior world of material energy.
