On
Saturday the 11th March we celebrate Gaura Purnima, the appearance of Sri
Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (a.k.a. Nimai), the Golden Avatar, coming
secretly 500 years ago to freely distribute the highest: pure love of
God, and by His own example show the souls in the material world how to go to the Innermost Realm of the Absolute, the heart of God.
We will sing devotional songs, Arci mataji gives lecture, there will be abisheka (Deity bathing), arati (Deity greeting) and lots of wonderful Prasadam – spiritualized vegetarian food.
