The fourth among the Dasavatara is Sri Nrisimha-avatara. Among the innumerable avataras, twenty-five are pre-eminent as has been stated before in connection with Matsya-avatara. Of these twenty-five, Sri Nrisimhadeva is the fourteenth. He is the vaibhava-vilasa (expansion in magnificence) of the tadekatma form of Sri Krishna.

Come over to Nimaihuset on saturday May 17 and celebrate Nrisimha Caturdasi with us, the appearance day of yet another incarnation of The Absolute: Lord Nrisimhadeva — Krishna, the Sentient Absolute, the Source of Consciousness, the Original Person, taking the form of a lion-man, descending for the sole purpose of protecting one single devotee.

There will be kirtan (singing of mantra songs), lecture, arati (altar ceremony), and prasadam (sanctified vegetarian food)!

The feast does not cost anything but donations are gladly accepted.
