THE IRRATIONALITY OF ATHEISM

Atheism tends to exalt reason, but it is actually irrational. One cannot disprove God exists. To dogmatically assert something unprovable is hardly rational! You might reply: But I can t disprove a giant purple frog on Mars controls the universe, either. Granted, one can never disprove any given thing exists, but the existence of God is not only logically possible, it is philosophically essential. (We'll get to that later.) The atheistic position, on the other hand, is logically impossible. Why do I say that? In order to prove the assertion No God exists, one would need to comprehensively know all of reality. Comprehensive knowledge of reality is called omniscience. One would need to be omniscient in order to prove there is no God, but if one were omniscient one would, by definition, already be God! So, logically, the only one capable of disproving the existence of God would be God himself! Atheism is inherently self-contradictory. The evidence for the existence of God is there for all to see, only we refuse to see it.

DEN IRRATIONELLA ATEISMEN

Ateismen gillar att framhäva förnuftet, när den som filosofi faktiskt är helt irrationell. Man kan inte bevisa att Gud inte finns. Att dogmatiskt fastslå att något inte går att bevisa är knappast rationellt. Då kanske du svarar: "Men jag kan inte bevisa att universum inte styrs av en enorm lila groda på mars heller". Kanske kan man aldrig bevisa att något inte existerar, men Guds existens är inte bara logisk, utan också filosofiskt essentiell. (Vi kommer till detta senare.) Det ateistiska ställningstagandet, å andra sidan, är helt ologiskt. Varför säger jag så? För att bevisa antagandet att Gud inte existerar, så måste man förstå och känna hela verkligheten. Besitter man sådan kunskap brukar man kallas för allvetande. Man måste alltså vara allvetande för att kunna bevisa att gud inte existerar. Men om man var allvetande skulle man, per definition, redan vara Gud! Så, logiskt sett, de enda som skulle kunna helt motbevisa Guds existens skulle vara Gud själv. Ateismen motsäger sig själv. Beviset för Guds existens finns där för alla att se, vi blundar bara för det uppenbara.
