They want simple menial service for Krishna and the extacy they recieve from Krishna is an obstacle for them as it has them swoon and faint and thus they consider it to be an obstacle for them to perform their service to perfection.
Yet they accept the extacy only to give the extacy of giving to Krishna.

We are very fortunate to have the association of a Prema Bhakta. Srila Gurumaharaj, who has entered the constant joy of giving purely

the shastra says that the effect of just an 11th part of aa second of association with such great soul is enough to pierce the veil of illusion forever and attain eternal perfection. That substance, of sadhu sanga, is the most potent substance ever known to mankind.

Long way to go... but there is alot of joy on the path aswell!

Simply chant, dance and take prashad in the association of the saintly

In the early hippie days, Srila Prabhupada affectionatly once said, Krishna Consciousness is like a room full of LSD
HAHAHAHAHhaha.... After all, "high" is relative - you might as well say that we are experiencing a "low" by being born in this place and age, and we seek a way out of this low.

But if you think you can get high by your own power, or by exploiting some material substance, you haven't learned anything useful for changing your situation, you will only become dependent on habits that confirm your illusion.

You must understand that every "high" is a gift. You get lifted higher by someone who is already higher than you. Only when you acknowledge the giver, and accept your inferior position, is it possible to receive a lasting high, which requires no substances.Bhakta Tomnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5303863117437753645.post-51621617262862744842013-08-15T10:47:45.121+02:002013-08-15T10:47:45.121+02:00Thank you.Thank you.Bhakta Tomnoreply@blogger.com
